Roasted Pumpkin Risotto with Haloumi and Chilli
Strawberry waffles
Ingredients – 8 servings Waffles:
50g flour
1 Tbsp Bonne Maman
Strawberry Preserve
50g caster sugar
20g baking powder
80g melted butter
1 pinch of salt
1 vanilla bean
4 eggs
35 cl milk
Filling:
100g Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserve
Preparation
Pre-heat lightly greased waffle iron.
Separate the egg whites from egg yolks.
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla bean seeds.
Add the egg yolks, melted butter, preserve and milk into the flour. Gently beat until smooth.
Beat the egg whites and gradually add caster sugar until thick. Add the egg whites to the first mixture.
Bake waffles until golden brown.
Remove and serve while warm topped with strawberry preserve.
