The artichoke is a typical vegetable from the Mediterranean area. It is found in regional recipes in different dishes ranging from appetizers to digestive liquor. In preparing its recipes, Montanini only uses Italian artichokes of the thorny type which come from Puglia, processed on a seasonal basis as soon as they are picked. Traditionally prepared, Montanini Artichokes can be served as an appetizer or as a side dish with meat dishes.
